The IMO and STCW have set out Mandatory Minimum Requirements for the issue of Certificates of Proficiency for Security Officers. This course covers these mandatory requirements in aspects of developing, implementing, maintaining, and supervising contents of the Ship Security Plan.
Furthermore, this course includes provisions on identifying hazards, threats and risks, and managing them altogether to establish effective security measures.
